The Half Day Hawkwalk and Falconry Experience Oxfordshire would be concentrated in an informal classroom atmosphere with a mixture of talks and hands-on a Harris hawk.
This is an outdoor experience so please come prepared for the British weather!

There’s something mesmeric about the way a bird of prey alights on your arm. It’s to do with both the tremendous speed of approach and the stalling when it lands, an almost filmic effect of fast and slow motion

- Talk explaining our raptors and their prey
- Demonstration of safe-handling including training for guests
- Talk on wellbeing, care and training of our birds
12:00 Display
- Falconer demonstrates flying a hawk and an owl
- Opportunity for guests to handle and fly a bird (This will be one of many opportunities to take photographs – remember your camera!)
- Question and answer session
13:00 Return to Hawkwalk
- Round-up your day
