Clients will take charge of a trained hunting hawk and we will take a gentile walk around the local area hunting with hawk and either dog or ferret. This is a hands on experience with no more than two clients at a time.

By the end of the day, the presence of a hawk on my arm has become almost reassuring: it sparks a primal feeling inside me. There’s no illusion that it is tame – it feels like an ally that for reasons of mutual convenience is choosing to work with you. That independence of spirit is perhaps what makes falconry so compelling.

- Talk explaining our raptors and their prey
- Demonstration of safe-handling including training for guests
- Talk on wellbeing, care and training of our birds
12:00 Display
- Falconer demonstrates flying a hawk
- Opportunity for guests to handle and fly a bird (This will be one of many opportunities to take photographs – remember your camera!)
- Question and answer session
12:30 Lunch
Guests are invited to join us at our local country pub. (A light lunch and drink are included in the price of your day)
13:30 Hunting with the hawk
Guests will experience the thrill of hunting with hawks in the stunning surrounding of our local countryside.
